Comments = Tonight was the first attempt to run the SDI for the 1998/99 winter.  Ed modified IPD.C to have auto-level control and up to 4X photon multiplicity.  However, PMAP crashed during write - so no obs.  Today, I added 1 ms delays after each fwrite of pmap data, plus stopped disabling interrupts during the write.  Daytime tests at PFRR suggest this may be more stable, but we'll see...
